I am a Certified Orton-Gillingham Supervisor/Practitioner providing structured language and literacy support using the Orton-Gillingham approach. I have over ten years of experience working in the educational field. I am a certified CATT Supervisor and Evaluator and a Supervising Mentor to other Orton-Gillingham practitioners. I sit on the Board of Directors for the Canadian Academy of Therapeutic Tutors (CATT). I am also a member of the International Dyslexia Association (IDA).
I offer In-person and online lessons in 1:1 or small group settings. Lesson packages include detailed intervention plans, initial formal and informal assessments, regular parent meetings and consultations and three progress reports throughout the school year.
I completed my Orton-Gillingham Training through Surrey College. I hold my Associate Teaching Certificate in Speech and Drama (ATCL) from Trinity College of London, a Professional Communications Diploma from Capilano University and a Broadcasting Education Diploma from the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology. I have completed the Mindfulness in the Classroom training from Mindful Schools and Level 1 Teacher Certification through CHI School.

Practical Activities and Ideas for Parents of Dyslexic Kids and Teens and Just Read! A Structured and Sequential. Resource for Teaching Reading, both currently in print. I am currently writing two additional, soon to be published books on the subjects of literacy and dyslexia.
I am passionate about creating a fun, engaging, and supportive learning space. I always aim to help my students feel safe and supported.
