Here I Am

My name is Michelle. The people closest to me call me Michelle, Mom, Sweetie or “Hey, you!” You can feel free to call me Michelle. My time is spent hanging with my family (my two boys and my husband). They are the reason I get up every single day. I also love training at my local gym, meditating, reading, writing and laughing. I have not lost my ability to laugh at the silliest things.

I have also been a “coach” throughout my life but I just didn’t know it. I’ve helped friends, family, students and strangers alike to shift perspectives and see themselves in different ways.

I am passionate about helping you peel back the layers of your challenges around weight, body image and your relationship with food to find the root of what is holding you back or keeping you stuck.

I’m fiercely determined to help you:

  • Recognize the effects of your constant internal battles and negative self-talk around food and weight.
  • Discover how your mind and body are connected in an intimate and powerful way.
  • Get yourself back into your body.
  • Understand that your challenges around weight and body image are NOT indicators of you being broken; they are, in fact, quite the opposite.

 

So, what makes me different from all the other “coaches” out there?

Firstly, let me tell you what I am NOT.

I’m not someone who is going to give you a meal plan, measurement sheet or calorie counting database. I’m not super interested in the numbers game because I believe we have way too much of that going on already. Focusing on the numbers only feeds into our already bruised and battered sense of self-confidence and body wisdom. Let’s save the numbers for our financial statements!

I’m also not here to tout the perfect “diet”, “program” or “system” because I believe there is no such thing. There are plenty of those out there that make those claims already and I firmly believe that there is no “perfect” system that works for everyone. There, I said it.

So, here’s where you might say to me, “But, Michelle, that can’t be right! There has to be a program that I can follow!”

To which I would respond, well, yes there is but you won’t find it in a book or on the internet or on TV.

Where you will find it is inside of YOU!

Remember the scene in Wizard of Oz where the Good Witch tells Dorothy that she had the power all along? Well, truer words were never spoken.

The answers are already there, my friend! And, it’s my job to help you find them.

Through the Eating Psychology Approach, we dive deep and explore what’s holding you back or keeping you stuck using the Dynamic Eating Psychology and Mind Body Nutrition approach . It’s a journey full of rewards, challenges, truth and opening. Once you’ve taken the dive, from there, we work to find a plan that works for you using sound nutritional principles.

It’s never about “good” foods and “bad” foods. Food is food and your relationship with it is about to change.
